Por Yoga was established by Piriyada Vessuwon, the Holistic Health  &  Wellbeing Promoter.  Por had a slipped disk at her late 20 years old and suffered the aching back and muscle pains here and there for many years till she discovered yoga at the age of 42.  Yoga completely eliminated all pains and effectively enabled her to carry activities, both works & hobbies, without worry. Since then, yoga has become a part of her life.  She has been providing yoga classes to a number of students worldwide as a tool to remove physical and mental limitations and uplift the body, mind, and soul.

In 2018, a group of young and middle aged people requested a tailored-made yoga program from Por, for a period of 14 days. All of us had, as most people in this age, back pain, stiff necks, limited metabolism, among others.  Por introduced us to a holistic approach of yoga  -  she  emphasized on including, postures, relaxation, breathing, meditation, and good nutrition.

As I have done weight training for more than 5 years, my body was a bit stiff and sometimes I felt pain after my weight training sessions. After having Yoga sessions with Por, I found out that my body was not only more flexible, but I also learned how to breathe correctly, which was very helpful for my muscle training as well.  With proper breathing, I could lift heavier and with more reps.
