Thought is a vital living force, the most vital, subtle and irresistible force that exists in the universe. It can be felt and perceived. Thought has form, size, shape, colour, quality, substance, power, and weight. You are not your thoughts. You are not the victim of your thoughts and you can transform your thoughts into more positive ones.

Thoughts blinds character. What a man thinks upon that he becomes. You create your destiny through your thoughts. You are constantly attracting towards you, from both the seen and unseen side of life forces. Carry any kind of thought with you, no matter how you roam over land or sea, you will unceasingly attract to yourself, knowingly or inadvertently, exactly and only what corresponds to your down dominant quality of thought.

The Law of Polarity states that there are always 2 different poles in everything: positivity and negativity. Be aware of negative thought and don’t be its victim. At the same time, don’t be a positive naïve either. Positive thinking with clarity is supportive to growth. Positive thinking with self-deception is harmful. Positive thinking with ignorance is disastrous. It hurts everybody.

Positive thought wavelengths are higher thought wavelengths and are more difficult to generate as they require more pranas. Lower thought wavelengths are easier to produce as they take less effort. A yogic lifestyle generates automatically positive thoughts. Asanas help move the prana and remove mental blockages. Pranayama balances energy and supplies new energy to the body and mind. Relaxation removes tress. Proper diet provides vital energy. Meditation recharges and purifies thoughts.

When the surface of a lake is still, one can see to the bottom very clearly. This is impossible when the surface is agitated by waves. In the same way, when the mind is still, with no thoughts or desires, one can see the “Self”. When the mind is focused there is no time. Time is nothing but a modification of the mind. Time, space, and causational and all external experiences are mental creations. By turning the mind’s concentration inward, upon the Self, one can deepen that experience of perfect concentration. This is a state of meditation.

Meditation is an experience that cannot be described, just as colours cannot be described to a blind person. It is only possible when all mental modifications are stilled. The closest analogous state that we can experience is deep sleep, in which there is neither time, nor space, nor causation. Meditation, however, differs from deep sleep, for it works profound changes in the psyche.

Meditation helps to prolong the body’s anabolic process of growth and repair, and to reduce catabolic or decaying process. This is because of the innate receptivity of body cells. Each of our body cells is governed by the instinctive subconscious mind. They have both individual and a collective consciousness. When the thoughts and desires pour into the body, the cells are activated; the body always obeys the group demand. It has been scientifically proven that positive thoughts bring positive results to cells. As meditation brings about a prolonged positive state of mind, it rejuvenates body cells and retards decay.

It’s not necessary to sit crossed legs to meditate. Walking, sitting, doing asana are also fine. The key point is “mindfulness to emptiness” – being aware of your every physical and mental activities and see the truth that you create all of them. So you can also do a big cleaning that is to eliminate unnecessary activities, empty useless thoughts, and make your mind still and clear again so that your intellect can rise and shine. This state of mind is a moment at which a great composer produces a beautiful music, a great artist creates a wonderful art piece, and a great scientist has a breakthrough.
